  • Upload, organize, and maintain research data in secure systems
  • Clean and prepare datasets for analysis (e.g., Excel, SPSS, R, or similar tools)
  • Interpret quantitative and/or qualitative data to identify patterns and trends
  • Assist in writing data analysis summaries, reports, and visualizations
  • Support the development of research documents, including tables, charts, and figures
  • Conduct literature searches using academic databases (e.g., Google Scholar, ERIC)
  • Read, synthesize, and summarize scholarly articles for literature reviews
  • Assist faculty with drafting sections of research papers, reports, and grant materials
  • Collaborate with faculty and research team members on ongoing projects
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to research and data ethics guidelines
  • Participate in periodic team meetings and provide progress updates
Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesStrong analytical thinking and ability to interpret data trends Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., sorting, formulas, basic visualization) Familiarity with data analysis tools (R, SPSS, Python, or similar) Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise written summaries Strong academic writing skills, including proper citation (APA style preferred) Ability to read, evaluate, and summarize scholarly research articles Effective time management and ability to work independently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to collaborate professionally with faculty and research team members Interest in STEM education, learning sciences, psychology, or AI in education Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
