The City of Lexington is seeking a Gas Technician Apprentice to join our team of utility professionals. We are a dynamic organization, offering excellent benefits and opportunities to the right people. The Apprentice performs (as a member of a crew) responsible semi-skilled and skilled work in the construction, installation, maintenance and repair of the City’s Natural Gas facilities. Also, while we will train entry level candidates, experience in the natural gas industry is a definite plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or GED
  
• Valid NC driver’s license and good driving record

Work Schedule

Monday - Thursday 7:00AM - 5:30 PM / Tuesday - Friday 7:00AM - 5:30 PM. Paid bi-weekly.

Work in all weather conditions. On call rotation.
