Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Maintenance Worker – HVAC - UH to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Job Summary: This position performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as heating ventilation air conditioning and associated electrical work. Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

(FSI) is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Maintenance Worker – HVAC - UH to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Job Summary: This position performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as heating ventilation air conditioning and associated electrical work. Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Replaces belts and filters on air handling units.
- Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Duties necessary for the HVAC Shop include, but not limited to, maintenance for: air handler, fan coil and air compressor.
- Air filter changes, air dryer maintenance (non-refrigerated side), evaporative cooler, furnace maintenance and exhaust fans.
- Follows company's safety, health and accident prevention plan
- Maintains the general cleanliness and appearance of assigned spaces, assist others as part of the maintenance team as required and perform other duties assigned according to personal qualifications.
- Minimum of three years related experience in construction and/or building and facility maintenance.
- HVAC experience desired.
- Experience in O&M to include support of a work force that is responsible for O&M and repair of all facility systems, subsystems, and selected equipment typically found in a Base Operating Services contract.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must be able to pass a company drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid state driver's license and insurable driving record.
