Position Summary
This role is an opportunity to lead the aftermarket sales team and is responsible for creating, analyzing, and tracking the North American market demand to understand customer product requirements then developing the current range of products accordingly, as well as adding new products, to meet market demand.
Reports to the Vice President of Product Support, based in Savannah, GA.
What you will be able to do
- Gather and review data from all pertinent internal and external sources to create an accurate baseline of parts & attachments volume for all JCB sales channels in the United States, Canada & Mexico
- Analyze current point of sale trends, shipments and inventory levels across the JCB Dealer network to create and modify forecasts as needed
- Analysis of North American market to understand the customer requirements in order to develop North American aftermarket product offering
- Liaise with UK based product specialists to develop product ranges according to market demand
- Focus on JCB Service Core-12 competitive products
- Research market pricing of each specific product group to ensure competitiveness
- Plan and develop a product marketing strategy to improve volume, revenue and profitability
- Plan and develop a marketing strategy for JCB Service Exchange remanufactured products to increase volume, revenue and profitability
- Provide demand planning intelligence for the development of training and marketing material for both the dealer network & customer direct, to assist the promotion of all products to end users in the market place.
- Imparting key product knowledge and information to internal and external customers through training classes
- Lead and build an effective team, including the management of remote team members
Requirements for the position
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or similar field.
- 10+ years of experience with aftermarket sales, supply chain, forecasting & demand planning
- Sales, product and marketing experience beneficial
- Travel will be required, including international
- Detailed understanding of a dealership business model
- Must pass any drug screens, background checks and any pre-employments tests as applicable.
