Pay Range
$63,400.00-$95,000.00 AnnualThis is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.
The purpose of the Global Procurement Information Specialist role is to ensure data quality within SAP. The position's areas of responsibility extend to pricing, exercising oversight of pricing approval processes, monitoring incoming price changes, and ensuring proper documentation as required by anti-trust law.
Your Day to Day:
- Manage vendor and plant specific pricing data in SAP.
- Verify that price approval processes are followed, and that documentation meets legal requirements
- Create, direct material, packaging, and vendor resale material master data in SAP and ensure it adheres to Data Governance Standards and associated business processes.
- Measure end-to-end process time for master data updates and drive adherence to set service levels
- Approve or deny change requests based on approval policy guidelines
- Analyze data quality reports and prescribe corrective actions as required.
- Communicate with Data Stakeholders on the importance of high-quality master data
- Back Up for supplier onboarding process.
- Back Up for GP&L monthly financial forecasting process.
- Support third party risk management procedures for GP&L.
- Liaison for purchasing initiatives including process automation and ensuring appropriate data is gathered for third parties to be compliant with legal regulations, trade compliance, and product stewardship.
- May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
What You Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of internal or external customer facing experience
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated expertise of SAP
- Proven understanding of SAP product structure, SAP customer structure and data governance standards
- Solid knowledge of anti-trust law
- Proven analytical, organizational, multitasking, and decision-making skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated problem resolution and negotiation skills
- Minimal travel required (0 - 10 days per year)
- Work environment is typical of an office setting
