Facility Services, Inc. (FSI) is seeking a Grounds Laborer Herbicide to support one of our strategic partners in delivering critical Base Operations Support Services at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.

Job Summary

This position executes landscaping operations and maintains grounds and landscape to include required herbicide application.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned.

• Mowing, landscaping, herbicide application, edging, trimming, weeding, and leaf removal.

• Services also include tree removal and disposal, culvert and ditch cleaning, erosion control, brushing, overhead trimming, spring and fall wildlife plantings and establishment

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• High school graduate. Minimum 1-3 years in the Grounds trade

• Trained and qualified in herbicide application.

• Shall possess a working knowledge of equipment used for maintenance of Grounds.

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

• Must be able to pass a company drug screen and background check. Must possess a valid state driver's license and insurable driving record.
