The head coach will oversee all aspects of managing the cheerleading program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, evaluating and recruiting qualified student-athletes, organizing and conducting team practices, overseeing/coaching cheerleaders at football and basketball home games, participating in community events, preparing for and fundraising for annual or bi-annual trip to national competition. Coach will hire, supervise and evaluate part-time assistant coach. Coach will adhere to all NCAA Division III, UCA, and institutional and department policies and procedures.Job Requirements:Required Qualifications• Bachelor's degree• Experience as a high school or collegiate coachAdditional Information:Salary:Salaries for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining agreements as well as state policies.
