Physical Requirements

This position requires regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing); and occasionally lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 lbs.; standing or walking with objects weighing up to 25 lbs.; and some job-related travel (less than 10% of time).

Job Summary

Responsible for Patient Health Record management, collaboration across the enterprise and outside to meet patient, healthcare and provider needs. Maintains accuracy of the patient healthcare record through accurate scanning and assignment of provider deficiencies. Responds to requests for audits and release of information following all HIPAA, governmental regulatory, enterprise and departmental policies, and Joint Commission standards.

Please note: Effective 7/1/2026, this position will be titled HIM Representative and will report through Information Technology Services in Beyond Blue.

Electronic medical records (EMR), general medical records, and releases of information (ROIs).
