POSITION SUMMARY & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Manages relationships with all Hotel vendors, national representatives and CLC. Utilizes Ironclad partnering with various departments and company initiatives

  • Responsible for keeping detailed records of hotel rates and pickup
  • Hotel Negotiations for MIT extended stay partners and Training Center locations
  • LNR hotel contracts and yearly reviews
  • Partner to meeting planners for event location, hotel room night, meeting space, F&B and A/V negotiations
  • Travel Intro and training for new Road Warriors
  • Department representative for various training sessions
  • Supports Travel Manager and Sr. Travel Coordinator
  • Concur updates of preferred properties and rates
  • Maintains prefer hotel excel file and contact information
  • Supports Travel Coordinators with hotel issues for travelers or meetings

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of travel industry experience
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel and lodging industry
  • Customer Service experience a must

Computer Skills: Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook (GDS experience preferred)
