Position Summary:

The HR Business Partner will partner with people leaders from Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, IT, and other Operations-related functions. Through developing a deep understanding of the Straumann Business Model, the position holder will build strong local and global relationships to establish themself as a trusted partner to the respective people manager, by guiding and providing HR leadership to enable sustained continued growth and transformation. The HR Business Partner receives support and works closely with HR Shared Services, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and Talent Development to leverage resources effectively, create impact and align HR initiatives with business objectives.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide guidance, coaching and support to people managers on a range of HR topics, including talent acquisition, performance management, and employee talent and capability development.

• Manage core processes and programs such as compensation review, talent review, Performance Management, workforce planning, forecasting/budgets, employee engagement etc. to drive organizational effectiveness.

• Proactively identify areas for necessary improvement, and partner closely with the respective HR Center of Excellence to design and implement solutions to address business challenges and evolving business/employee needs.

• Partners with leadership to drive change, manage resistance, and foster a positive, resilient, and adaptive organizational culture.

• Champion the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the company core beliefs and Culture Journey.

• Implement digital transformation initiatives to enhance employee engagement, foster collaboration, and elevate overall employee experience and capabilities.

• Actively participate in regional and global HR Project teams.

• Collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends; with the ability to understand the importance of Data Integrity and HR Analytics and propose and drive solutions in response to trends.

• Ensure compliance in all HR related policies & procedures and support internal and external audits.

• Keep the team informed of all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and best practices.


Work Environment & Physical Attributes:

• General office environment.

• Sit for extended periods of time.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 2+ years working as an HR Business Partner

• 3+ years of experience in employee relations, performance management, investigations, and coaching

• 2+ years of experience working in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel


Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline

• Experience supporting manufacturing, supply chain, or operations-related functions.

• Experience working in a complex, globally matrixed environment

• Superior people skills and ability to successfully partner with employees throughout all levels of the organization.

• Ability to be agile and flex with the needs of the organization.

• Elevated level of enthusiastic professionalism

• Exceptional collaborative skills, including ability to work cross-functionally.

• Performance and business driven; solutions oriented.

• Proven project management, time management, and organizational skills

• Financial and Data Acumen skills

• Ability to utilize coaching and change management skills to be a strategic partner

• Advanced User of MS Office Suite, Dashboards (PowerBi), and AI tools

• Willingness to embrace and embody Straumann’s 8 Core Behaviors and Cultural Journey.

• PHR or SPHR certification


Salary: $120,000 - $140,000/Annually. The final pay for this position will vary based on geographic location and candidate experience relative to what the company reasonably anticipates for this position.
