Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of core HR and payroll data across Workday and related systems. Perform routine and complex audits, analyze data trends, investigate discrepancies, and deliver reporting support for HRIS, HR Operations, Payroll, Legal, Tax, and other business units. Collaborate cross functionally to identify data issues, recommend process improvements, and support reporting needs that enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and data governance.

This is an on-site position which will require the candidate to report and work from the office. Therefore, interested candidates should be within a 50-minute radius from Temple, TX.

What You'll Do:
  • Conduct recurring and ad hoc audits of core HR data, compensation data, job data, organizational structure, and payroll data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Identify data discrepancies, determine root causes, and partner with HR, HRIS, Payroll, and field teams to resolve issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver standard and custom Workday reports to support HRIS, Payroll, HR Ops, Legal, and Tax.
  • Support compliance related reporting activities including employee verification, wage audits, tax reporting validation, and legal inquiries.
  • Create and maintain audit documentation, reporting inventories, and data governance guidelines.
  • Assist with design, documentation, and execution of testing scenarios for system updates, configuration changes, and new functionality.
  • Provide support for data correction activities, mass uploads (EIBs), and data validation for key HR and payroll processes.
  • Develop analytics dashboards and KPIs to monitor data quality trends and provide insights for leadership.
  • Respond to data and reporting requests from HR leaders, Legal, Payroll, Finance, and Tax with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure all audit findings, reporting tasks, and open data issues are tracked and resolved within required timeframes.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, accounting, or related field (preferred).
  • Four or more years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, payroll auditing, or related analytical roles may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Experience with Workday HCM and Reporting is strongly preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience auditing HR or payroll data sets, identifying gaps, and recommending corrective actions.

This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
