Responsibilities
Position Overview:
The Human Resources (HR)Generalist will be onsite at our Skokie, IL location to support themanufacturing operations of the Engineered Products (EP) team. This positionsupports the business by providing execution support for people strategies,organization development, and other HR initiatives. The Human ResourcesGeneralist will serve as a trusted advisor for the site. The main objectives ofthis high-impact role are focused on supporting the key HR strategies toattract, engage, develop, reward and retain a diverse, highly qualified andculturally aligned employee base.
Key Responsibilities:
' Provide full range of day-to-day HRsupport to the local team including onboarding/offboarding, engagement,development, timekeeping, safety initiatives, etc.
' Recruitment of hourly employees at theSkokie site through multiple methods and provide candidate screening andscheduling support for the Engineered Products team in Ohio and Connecticut.
' Work together with HR team, employees,supervisors, and managers to resolve employee relations issues as they arise,including partnering with Sr. HR Manager on investigations; Provides somecounsel to improve or correct performance issues and deficiencies.
' Promote HR programs to create anefficient and conflict-free workplace.
' Implement and monitor adherence to allorganization-specific Human Resource related policies, procedures andpractices, act as a liaison to staff regarding policies.
' Drive employee engagement througheffective communication, employee events, and activities.
' Promote strong relationships betweenthe Company and the Community to develop and maintain good corporatecitizenship.
' Support timekeeping and payrollactivities for both the salaried and hourly workforce across the EngineeredProducts locations.
' Prepare reports and metrics to measureHR effectiveness.

Qualifications
BasicQualifications
' Bachelor's degree in human resourcesor related field from an accredited institution.
' 2+ years of progressive HR experiencein a manufacturing environment.
' Proven experience with projectdevelopment and management through successful completion.
' Exceptional written and verbalcommunication skills and the ability to conduct meetings and presentations.
' Aptitude in problem-solving.
' Ability to communicate withindividuals at all levels of the facility.
' Self-starting, results-orientatedindividual who is team oriented.
' Outstanding employee relations skillswith a strong customer focus.
' Proficient in Microsoft Officeincluding Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
' Aerospace and EH&S experience.
' Experience working with Kronos andWorkday systems.
- Experience in L&D in a manufacturing setting.
