Paradigm is hiring for a remote, full-time, benefited Implant Associate. The Implant Associate is responsible for appropriately adjudicating workers compensation claims containing implanted devices. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern time.
What you will do:
- Perform detailed analysis of all claim related documents that may be associated with an implantable device procedure billing.
- Utilize company proprietary software to document analysis of claims and provide recommendations of payment to clients.
- Responsible for ensuring that both accuracy and efficiency is maintained throughout our operational processing of client implant case referrals.
Skills and Experience
- Associate's degree or up to 2 years of experience in a related field. Surgical healthcare knowledge is a must.
- Experience and/or knowledge of medical billing and common coding practices, including ICD-9/10 coding and medical terminology.
- Strong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently and deal with multiple tasks simultaneously. Accuracy and attention to detail are also a must.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office and computer application systems
