Duty includes teaching engineering and technology courses to industry partners in Laser and Photonics Engineering Technology with an emphasis on hands-on learning, developing laboratory materials and activities, and managing laboratory facilities to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities may also include coordinating and managing on-campus industrial training programs.

Serve as a faculty member within the Paducah program and teach courses related to laser and photonics. Work with Paducah faculty to develop hands-on skills in students leveraging the laser and photonics course laboratory facilities and curriculum. Work with Paducah faculty to integrate laser and photonics courses as electives into the engineering and technology programs.
Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesApplicants should demonstrate strong technical expertise in Laser and Photonics Engineering, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/ExperienceApplicants should hold an MS degree in Laser and Photonics Engineering or a closely related field.
