JOB SUMMARY
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions and related industry experience of the job include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Proposals Execution Strategy: Support Hanwha Power Sales Directors (domestic or international) to develop and implement the strategy for the proposals to achieve the project performance and cost goals.
- Proposals Strategic Alignment: Align offers with the product strategy and with the defined sales and pricing strategy, while ensuring that applicable risk management guidelines are followed.
- Proposals Process: Coordinate the offer process and offer team until offer submission. May engage internal and external stakeholders and consolidate their inputs on scope, cost, and risk. Organize hand-over and start-up phases for the project execution.
- Proposals Documentation: Provide accurate scope and associated costs for the proposal project. Ensure commercial, contractual, and technical scope documents are correctly prepared with reference to project, country, and client specifics including tax and legal requirements.
- Harmonization: Contribute to continuously developing or improving with implementation of proposals’ tools and internal processes across the GT global organization.
- Proposal Risk Review: Define and quantify risks during the proposal phase. Support Sales in the risk review process.
- Communication: Provides adequate reporting to all stakeholders such as internal or external customers, business partners and management. Manages the internal and external communication loop as the primary liaison between the GT global organization and all the HPU functional teams.
- Knowledge Transfer: Responsible for successful Knowledge Transfer regarding global proposals/projects organization.
- Gather and analyze market feedback and intelligence and participate in development of company commercial strategies and tactics.
- Direct maintenance of CRM database relating to assigned products and customers.
- Provide input to engineering on desirable and required product features and forecast volumes to manufacturing.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Training
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred), science or a 4-year degree with relevant experience in the field
- Must complete regulatory training assigned as described by HPU’s Training Matrix
Skills/Experience
- 5+ years of experience within the power generation or relevant industry.
- 2+ years of commercial experience, LTA, sales or tender execution in the Gas Turbine industry.
- 2+ years of experience in developing and executing project plans according to quality, cost and delivery specifications. Experience with complex, large and/or international projects is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience solving technical or organizational problems on cross-functional teams, with communication skills at an advanced level.
- Ability to analyze, process, and present complex technical and commercial information. Including experience with contractual terms and conditions.
- Ability to efficiently communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite user (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.). Salesforce experience is a plus
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required.
