Our summer internship program allows you to learn more about the Fleet and Tools side of the electrical construction industry and our business before beginning your career after graduation. As an intern, you will work under the supervision of the Technology Services team and Project Site Supervision, supporting project teams in day-to-day activities associated with the installation, coordination, and integration of low-voltage systems and building technologies. - Assist in supporting safe work practices and conditions during the distribution and maintenance of tool catelog
- Help conduct compliance checks and audits related to structured cabling, access control, audiovisual, and other low-voltage systems.
- Participate in delivering site-specific orientation for Fleet and Tools personnel and subcontractors.
- Support the development and execution of strategies to prevent workplace incidents related to fleet and tools
- Provide on-site support for Technology Services projects and events as directed by the Fleet and Tools Director.
- Must currently be enrolled in a degree program in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Must possess a strong desire to start a career in the technology services or electrical construction industry.
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Outstanding interpersonal and team collaboration skills.
- Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work throughout the lifecycle of technology-related projects.
- Prior experience in technology services, construction, or field support is a plus.
