Summary of Position

Lionsgate is currently seeking an Intern, Television and Digital Sales Planning & Analysis.  As an Intern in Worldwide Sales & Distribution you will focus on researching, forecasting and developing strategy for Television and Digital sales at Lionsgate. The team works on Sales Planning and Strategy for Linear Sales (Pay & Free TV), Transactional Digital (PVOD, EST and TVOD) as well as the rapidly growing SVOD, AVOD and FAST space. The ideal candidate is an analytical and resourceful strategic thinker with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis on territory and media trends for Worldwide TV and Digital teams
  • Develop and analyze territory level and media level reports and trackers to provide key insights and recommendations; perform variance and trend analysis
  • Support the team, enabling discussions about the current and future state of the TV and Digital Business
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for upper management

Skills

  • Experience in an analytical or planning role preferred
  • Have excellent Excel skills including creating financial models
  • Must be highly motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-pasted environment
  • Must have interest in Movies and Television of various genres
  • College enrollment, preferably working towards a major in Math, Statistics, Finance, Economics or related field

Nice to Haves

  • Salesforce and Tableau experience a plus
  • Entertainment industry experience a plus

Details

  • Interns must not work more than 40 hours per week
  • Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
  • Interns must be current rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date)
  • Graduate students are eligible to apply
  • Interns must be available to work for the entire length of the program
  • All internships are paid
  • Most internship positions will require working 4 days in office
