Investment Operations Analyst
Position Summary
The Investment Operations Analyst will be responsible for executing critical operational processes every day to support all asset classes within the portfolio. This role will be a key contributor to the operations team which provides accurate, complete, and timely processing of trades and security administration. In this fast-paced dynamic team, the daily contributions are the foundation to support investment decisions, results, and strategy across our General Account Investment Mandate.
Responsibilities
- Support trade lifecycle from post execution to settlements, ensuring accuracy and completeness across various applications
- Reconciling each data point for trades, cash, and positions across all systems and databases
- Processing corporate actions in the associated systems and communicating transactions with key business partners
- Settling collateral and margin calculations associated with our derivative positions
- Building and maintaining key operational reports associated with our controls and ad hoc compliance reporting
THE PERSON
Pivotal Experience & Expertise
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting
- 1–5 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or financial operations
- Strong SQL and Excel skills , exposure to Python is a plus
- Experience with OMS.IBOR/ABOR systems (e.g Bloomberg, ePam, WSO) is a plus
- Intellectual curiosity with the desire to learn and pursue an investment career
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to form meaningful working partnerships
