Position Summary

The Regional IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) acts as the strategic interface between the IT function and the Regional Business Units. This senior-level role is responsible for driving the IT strategy, ensuring that technology investments deliver maximum value and align with business goals. BRM position proactively leads the demand management process, shapes the digital roadmap aligned with the Global IT plan, and serves as a trusted advisor to the Regional Executive Team, ensuring the company leverages technology to gain competitive advantages.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Strategic Partnering & Leadership

  • Serve as the primary strategic partner for Regional Executives (Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain), translating business strategy into an actionable IT Roadmap.
  • Lead the Regional IT alignment with the Global IT Governance, ensuring local initiatives comply with global standards while addressing regional market needs.
  • Drive innovation by identifying opportunities where technology can improve efficiency, reduce costs, or generate new revenue streams (replacing the previous "sales leads" focus).

2. Demand Management & Portfolio Governance

  • Orchestrate the prioritization of the regional project portfolio, ensuring resources are allocated to initiatives with the highest ROI.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of regional IT projects from business case definition to value realization.
  • Manage the Regional IT Budget (OPEX/CAPEX), ensuring transparency and accountability in IT spending.

3. Service Management & Value Delivery

  • Accountable for the overall satisfaction of regional business stakeholders with IT services.
  • Monitor high-level Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and intervene in critical escalations, ensuring the IT delivery teams meet business expectations.
  • Conduct quarterly strategic business reviews (QBRs) with key stakeholders to assess IT performance and adjust strategies as needed (elevating the "Service Review Meetings" concept).

4. Team & Relationship Management

  • Build and sustain effective relationships with internal Executive Directors and key external technology vendors/suppliers.
  • Mentor and develop high-performing relationships within the IT organization, fostering a culture of "Business First."
  • Promote the adoption of new technologies and drive Change Management initiatives within the region.

Key Competencies

Education & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or Business Administration. MBA or master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a strategic BRM, Account Management, or IT Leadership role.
  • Certifications: BRMP® (Business Relationship Management Professional) or CGEIT is a strong plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strategic Vision: Ability to understand the "big picture" and map technology to business outcomes.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong experience managing budgets (P&L), business case development, and ROI analysis.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish (Mandatory), with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical executives.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to influence without authority, manage conflict, and lead cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Commercial Awareness: Deep understanding of the industry value chain (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to effectively partner with Commercial vendors and distributors.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel BI tools (Tableau, Power BI or Qlik Sense), Digital platforms (Ecommerce, Digital Asset Management-DAM, Product Information Management -PIM), Gen AI (Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.); working knowledge of ERP (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) is highly desired.

  • Internal: Regional Executive Leaders (Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR), Global CIO, Global IT Functional Leaders.
  • External: Strategic Technology Partners, Key Distributors, Vendors.

The salary range for this role is a base salary of $120,000 - $157,200 along with an annual bonus, 401K match, and medical and wellness benefits. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience and skill set against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
