We are seeking a highly skilled ITSM Automation Specialist to design, implement, and maintain automated workflows within our IT Service Management (ITSM) platform, with a strong focus on service catalog products. This role will partner with business users, service owners, and technical teams to ensure our service catalog delivers intuitive, efficient, and compliant solutions that improve end-user experience and operational efficiency. This position will use web development techniques to create value for business units by reducing the amount of manual work needed to accomplish tasks.

What We Are Looking For
Minimum Qualifications: These qualifications must be visible in your application for consideration.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Information Systems Specialist 5
(a) Four (4) years of information systems experience in:
JavaScript, PowerShell, or other programmatic languages
COTS-based product administration, development, and design with preference on ITSM tools Customer service and product presentation General I.T. roles and experiences
OR
(b) An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field;
AND
two (2) years of information systems experience in:
JavaScript, PowerShell, or other programmatic languages
COTS-based product administration, development, and design with preference on ITSM tools Customer service and product presentation General I.T. roles and experiences.
OR
(c) A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for all of the above.

- Strong ITSM Process Knowledge – Deep understanding of ITIL principles, especially service catalog, request fulfillment, and incident/change processes.
- Automation Expertise – Experience designing and implementing workflow automations, integrations, and orchestration across ITSM platforms or other COTS based products.
- Technical Proficiency – Skilled in scripting (e.g., JavaScript, PowerShell) and familiarity with APIs, REST, and system integrations.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Capable of analyzing complex requirements and translating them into efficient, automated solutions.
- Collaboration & Communication – Works effectively with all parties (business users, service owners, developers, and support teams) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Knowledge of UX best practices to improve the navigation of developed products and increase ease of use.

- The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. If the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%. Review the Classification and Compensation page for more details on the classification.
