Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire a full-time Quality Control Laboratory Testing Technician working from our Pittsburgh, PA laboratory location, with a start date of January 26, 2026.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Quality Control Laboratory Testing Technician
A typical day for the laboratory testing technician includes sample processing, performing quality control checks, and providing overall laboratory support. The technician works with equipment setup for staining and imaging, prepares reagents, manages specimens, and assists with inventory and quality management tasks. The majority of time in this role is spent on three main activities: equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance; conducting inventory checks and stocking consumables; and managing slide specimens, including archiving, tracking, and proper storage.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- At least an associate's degree in biological science (i.e., biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Proven flexibility and dependable performance
- Laboratory work experience required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MLT (AA) recommended, not required
- Experience in a high complexity clinical laboratory setting preferred

SCHEDULE
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, exempt position, working from our Pittsburgh, PA laboratory.
- The role may require flexibility to meet operational needs.
