Physical Requirements

Sitting and standing for long periods of time. Lifting, carrying, pushing up to 15lbs at a time. Stooping, bending.



Shift

Monday – Friday. (40 hours/week). On rare occasion some nights and weekends.



Job Summary

The College of Pharmacy seeks a Laboratory Technician Senior for the Dr. Jonghyuck Park’s lab.

The Lab Tech Sr. will assist with planning, executing, and analyzing experiments, establish experimental protocols, performing standard laboratory procedures, assist with breeding colony maintenance, coordinate and reserve equipment and procedure rooms required for performing experimental work.

They will also maintain clean and organize research spaces, maintain reagent supply and chemical inventory, organize lab space, assist maintaining safety documentation, perform regular maintenance and cleaning of critical lab equipment.

Additionally, responsibilities assisting with maintaining supply and sample inventory, organizing lab space and lab archive, assisting with placing and receiving orders, providing administrative support, and assisting with general laboratory duties.
