POSITION SUMMARY

Castle Contracting is looking forCivil General Laborer in Omaha, NE area. The General Laborer supports the completion of projects by assisting on excavation and utility projects. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of previous experience on similar construction projects.Castle proudly offers:

Castle is a self-performing contractor in the areas of underground utility work, site development, excavating services and mass grading.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools
• Assist at job site with general duties
• Communicate clearly with the crew as well as project staff, trade partners, and clients.
• Must be self-motivated and work well with others

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be an existing member or willing to join local Union
• Knowledge of proper use of tools, materials, and supplies used on construction projects
• Previous experience in commercial and civil construction projects
• Experience in excavation/earthwork/underground utilities
• Proven commitment to safety and building relationships with a team
• Must have reliable transportation to the job site
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule

• Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
• 10hr OSHA, Trench Excavation Training and Sewer Layer License a plus
• Minimum age 18
• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization
• Pre-employment drug screen required
