Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Lead Medical Assistant to join our Family Medicine practice in Lehi. This leadership role requires a motivated professional who can maintain a high standard of patient care while supporting staff and fostering a positive, team-oriented environment.

Essential Job Functions: Supervises all Clinic Medical Assistants/Patient Assistants, providing leadership, direction, ongoing training, and performance support. Must lead clinical team to follow clinic policies and procedures. Must be willing to work alongside office manager. Requires ordering supplies and performing duties as an MA such as Room patients, obtain and document medical history, reconcile medications, and confirm reason for visit. Perform routine clinical tasks including vitals, preliminary testing, injections, and assisting with in-office procedures. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including appropriate documentation and coding. Triage patient phone calls and messages; communicate provider instructions, lab results, and follow-up information. Coordinate referrals, follow-up appointments, prescriptions, and prior authorizations with pharmacies and insurance companies. Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment to ensure clinic readiness and efficiency. Ensure compliance with clinic policies and all federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain current CPR certification.

Qualifications: Leadership skills 2 years of experience in clinical leadership in a clinical setting CPR certification Prefer Phlebotomy Certification Working knowledge of medical terminology Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally is required. Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time. Demonstrate excellent computer, telephone and communication skills. Outstanding customer service, organization and attention to detail. Must be a self-starter, a team player, dependable, friendly and professional and be able to multi-task and work efficiently while remaining calm and productive.

Hours: 40 hours a week Monday-Friday 7:00am -5:00pm as scheduled
