Position Overview:We are seeking a highly experienced and technically versatile Lead Software Engineer to drive the design, development, and integration of our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) and Document Management Platform. This role will lead the engineering efforts for OCR-based automation, event-driven microservices, and scalable document workflows using modern cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Architecture & Development
- Design and implement scalable, event-driven microservices using .NET Core and AWS.
- Lead the integration of OCR technologies such as AWS Textract and AWS Bedrock into IDP pipelines.
- Architect and build robust document ingestion, classification, and data extraction workflows.
Platform Engineering
- Develop and maintain high-performance backend systems using PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
- Implement messaging and streaming solutions using AWS SQS or Kafka.
- Ensure system reliability, observability, and scalability across distributed services.
Front-End & Automation
- Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver responsive, modular front-end applications using React.
- Integrate RPA tools to automate repetitive document handling and validation tasks.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor engineers and enforce best practices in code quality, testing, and DevOps.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA to deliver high-impact features.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and POCs for IDP and AI-enhanced document tools.
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead role.
- Strong proficiency in .NET Core, C#, and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Textract, Bedrock, Lambda, SQS, and DynamoDB.
- Solid understanding of event-driven systems and messaging platforms (Kafka/SQS).
- Experience with React, RPA tools, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong database skills with PostgreSQL and NoSQL (DynamoDB).
- Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, and secure API design.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in utilizing the latest AI tools and techniques such as agentic AI, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, and NLP.
Special Work Conditions
- Sedentary – Involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Some positions may entail exerting up to 15 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, or pull.

Salary range
- $140,000 - $185,000
