Job Summary

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kentucky invites applications for the position of Lecturer/Senior Lecturer. This is a non-tenure-eligible 9-month faculty position with duties oriented primarily towards undergraduate instruction in the electrical and computer engineering programs. The typical teaching load for this position will be 3 courses per semester. The initial appointment is for two years and is renewable. The anticipated start date is August 2026.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or a closely related field) from an accredited institution. Applicants should have strong written and oral communication skills and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education. Applicants with industrial experience or professional licensure are encouraged to apply. Initial appointment at the Senior Lecturer level will be considered for candidates with extensive university teaching experience.
