Description
The Theater and Music Theater program at the Lewis Center for the Arts, Princeton University, has occasional curricular need for part-time lecturers in all disciplines, and accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such lecturers are needed. These positions are subject to enrollments and will be for one semester, non-tenure track, and potentially renewable, with expected start dates of September 1, 2026, or January 16, 2027. Teaching areas include Acting, Playwriting, Performance Criticism, Theater History, Directing, Dramaturgy, Producing for the Theater, Music Theater, Performance Art, and Theatrical Design.
These positions are subject to the University's background check policy, and the work location for these positions is in-person on campus at Princeton University. Term positions of one year or less are not eligible for sponsorship of an H‑1B visa requiring consular processing.

Competitive candidates will be active teachers, practitioners, and/or scholars with a national reputation who demonstrate a deep commitment to undergraduate teaching and advising.
