Salary Range or Pay Grade: $83,100 - $174,500



Description

The Visual Arts program at the Lewis Center for the Arts, Princeton University, has occasional curricular need for part-time lecturers in all disciplines, and accepts applications in advance in the event the occasion arises where such lecturers are needed. These positions are subject to enrollments and will be for one semester, non-tenure track, and potentially renewable, with expected start dates of September 1, 2026, or January 16, 2027.

These positions are subject to the University's background check policy, and the work location for these positions is in-person on campus at Princeton University. Term positions of one year or less are not eligible for sponsorship of an H‑1B visa requiring consular processing.


Qualifications

Competitive candidates are professional artists who demonstrate a commitment to undergraduate teaching and advising. Princeton is interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community. Preferred qualifications include an MFA or equivalent experience.
