Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4:30 pm or 8:00 am-5:00 pm (40 hours/wk).

Job Summary

The audiovisual archives manager will manage, process, and provide reference for the films, magnetic videos, audiotapes, optical discs, and other digital time-based media in the University Archives, Manuscripts and AV Archives, the Bert T. Combs Appalachian Collection, the Wendel H. Ford Public Policy Research Center, and the Judge John G. Heyburn Initiative. They will manage outsourced and inhouse digitization, including digital preservation activities. They will also coordinate licensing for all of UK Libraries Special Collections Research Center.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

MS Windows, Excel, and data-entry.

Bachelor’s degree plus two or more years related library experience preferred.

Archival work experience.
