- Performs set-up and operating procedures for manual machines and CNC machines.
- Must be able to use CNC lathes, mills, various manual mills and lathes and/or any related equipment during the performance of assigned job tasks for machining operations.
- Maintain daily machining operations records – machine specifics and tabulate reports.
- Knowledge and ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings; specifications, SOI's etc
- Perform all duties assigned with minimum guidance utilizing work order or blueprint specs.
- Responsible for inputting data into CIMA for accurate labor reporting and part tracking.
- Functional math skills required to complete job tasks.
- Complete and working knowledge of blueprints, shop drawings, CNC programming and standard measuring equipment.
- Must be self-motivated and complete job assignments with minimum supervision.
- Functional knowledge of various materials and methods for machining.
- Knowledge and ability to use all gages and instruments required to job tasks.
- Able to handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs. and heavier parts with the use of power devices.
- Must have normal vision or correctable to perform job tasks
- Exposure to weather conditions. Plant temperature and noise levels may vary according to the season.
- High school education or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience on CNC, various manual machines and metal surfaces preparation.
- Elevated temperatures, thick smoke, dirt and grease.
- Physically able to lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Handling materials up to 900 degrees with proper tools.
- High-paced production environment to meet standards.
- Background Investigation / Drug Screen / US Person: Required.
