Responsibilities

Salary Range: $23.50/hr + shift differential

Shift: Maintenance Assistant-2nd shift (3:30pm 12:00am)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated,reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. The MaintenanceAssistant will be responsible for assisting with various maintenance tasks,ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep and cleanliness of our facilities. Theideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail, good time managementskills, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and/or in ateam environment setting.

' Key Responsibilities:
Assist with general maintenance duties such as repairing equipment, performingroutine inspections, and troubleshooting issues

' Conduct regular cleaning andsanitization of work areas and equipment

' Collaborate with other team members tocomplete maintenance tasks and projects on time

' Clean and sanitize equipment, tools,and machinery on a regular basis

' Perform routine maintenance tasks suchas lubricating machinery, replacing filters, and checking fluid levels

' Conduct inspections of facilities toidentify any maintenance or repairs needed

' Assist with painting floors, walls,ceilings and other surfaces as required

' Repair or replace damaged equipment,fixtures, or furniture

' Maintain inventory of cleaning suppliesand equipment

' Collaborate with other team members toensure efficient and effective maintenance operations

' Report any maintenance issues orconcerns to the Maintenance Manager

' Follow safety guidelines and maintain aclean and organized work environment

' Assists with EHS initiatives asdirected

Assumes additionalresponsibilities as required.

Qualifications

BasicQualifications

' High school diploma or equivalent.

' Minimum of 1-year industrial experiencein a manufacturing setting.'

' Employees must be legally authorizedto work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will berequired at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for thisposition.

' This position entails access toexport-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon anapplicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items

' Knowledge of basic maintenancetechniques and tools

' Ability to perform physical tasks suchas lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods

' Good communication skills and theability to work well in a team

' Ability to prioritize tasks and managetime effectively

' Basic knowledge of safety protocols andprocedures.

' Ability to read, write, and understandwritten specifications, procedures, drawings and prints

' Ability to design and execute fromverbal instructions

' Safety and quality conscious.

PreferredQualifications

  • Prior experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Forklift and scissor lift trained,a plus.
