What You'll Do:

As a Maintenance Specialist 1, you'll be an essential part of our team, performing a variety of tasks that keep our roads in top condition:

  • Road Maintenance: Street cleaning, sanding, snow removal, and vegetation management.
  • Equipment Operation: Operating trucks and other heavy equipment to transport materials and tow equipment.
  • Infrastructure Maintenance: Applying pavement treatments, maintaining drainage systems, and right-of-way and shoulder maintenance.
  • Emergency Response: Participating in emergency operations, ensuring community safety during critical times.
  • Team Collaboration:Working alongside a diverse team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.

We're Looking For:

  • Individuals who are reliable, hardworking, and committed to public service.
  • People who can operate heavy equipment and drive trucks.
  • Those with a valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
  • Team players who thrive in a collaborative environment and are comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather.

To Qualify:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years of experience in maintenance or road construction, including one year of truck driving experience.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
