Required Related Experience

Required License/Registration/Certification

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Kentucky State Radiation Operators License at time of hire, Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire, Must pass Mammography boards within 1 year of hire.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours), lift up to 25 pounds, and sit at a computer workstation for prolonged durations while performing repetitive tasks.

Shift

Primarily day shift Monday through Friday. 8:00 am – 5:00pm

Job Summary

The Mammography Technologist provides high-quality, patient-centered imaging services in accordance with established clinical standards, protocols, and safety guidelines.

This role is responsible for producing diagnostic-quality breast images through proficient technical skills, accurate patient positioning, and compassionate patient care. The technologist ensures patient safety, privacy, and comfort while adhering to regulatory, infection control, radiation safety, and accreditation requirements. Success in this role requires strong communication, attention to detail, efficiency, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous professional development and organizational values.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Mammography experience preferred.

Preferred Education/Experience

Associate’s Degree and more than 2 years related experience preferred.
