Manager, Business Oversight

The Role

As Manager, Business Oversight at Fidelity Digital Assets, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining comprehensive first-line of defense programs for existing and new business initiatives in the digital assets space. You are responsible for risk identification and control identification related to new business initiatives and supporting day-to-day operational activities for new product incubation, including reviewing transactions, maintaining accurate books & records, risk monitoring, reconciling various systems, and building subject matter expertise in digital assets and decentralized finance. To be effective, you will work closely with Product, Quantitative Strategies, Risk, and Compliance to ensure understanding of key risks and operational needs. With your knowledge and commitment, you will become a collaborative and resourceful member of the Fidelity Digital Assets team, sharing best practices and driving successful results. You will report to the Vice President, Business Oversight and will be responsible for a range of activities to support new business initiatives. #cryptojobs

The Expertise and Skills You Have

  • BA/BS required;

  • Proven experience analyzing operational workflows, identifying key risks and controls, and writing policies and procedures

  • Ability to recognize process inefficiency, think critically, and recommend improvement opportunity

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment

  • Proven ability to complete a set of complex daily tasks, with strong attention to detail and efficient, accurate processing

  • Understanding of money movement, reconciliation and digital asset settlement concepts

  • Knowledge of and passion for digital assets and blockchain technology preferred

  • Provide daily operational support, including transaction review, reconciliation, compliance operational monitoring, risk monitoring, triaging issues and reporting

  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Participate in, and provide valuable input into, conversations with business partners including Product, Quantitative Strategies, Risk, Compliance, etc. to support ongoing business needs and drive process improvement

  • Bring expertise in risk and control identification and evaluation to the business

  • Your experience in prior roles with detailed, task oriented operational support managing day to day work and building for the future, as well as project and program management skills

  • Your excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

  • Your ability to work well on teams and in fast-paced, cross-collaborative environments

  • Your ability to think analytically and deliver solutions to complex challenges

The base salary range for this position is $74,000-141,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
