SUMMARY

The Manager, Credentialing Data ("Manager") is responsible for managing databases and ensuring the integrity and availability of data. The Manager will design, test, and implement various database solutions to meet business needs. This position provides data management, entry, verification, validation, quality control of data, and report production for the day-to-day operations of the Medical Staff Credentialing Office. This position serves to ensure the accuracy of the Medical Staff Credentialing data as the Data Source of Truth for related initiatives, services and programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

  • Take ownership for data quality at all stages of the data pipeline, from raw data retrieval to user-facing reporting
  • Continuously improve the quality of data in order to improve data retrieval, report generation stability, and performance of the credentialing system.
  • Act as subject matter expert for US Renal Care's credentialing system operations
  • Manage Medical Staff Credentialing internal project deliverables such as Project Wizard tasks as assigned.
  • Manage and enhance routine schedules and auditing projects such as verifications regarding provider credentials, board certifications, sanctions & exclusions, and provider demographic changes.
  • Manage data verification and reconciliation projects as assigned.
  • Provide appropriate reports and statistical data to other department designees for review, follow-up and resolution
  • Perform general administrative tasks in support of assigned department
  • Create and maintain multiple databases, including, credentialing system and related corrections
  • Attend meeting and trainings hosted by credentialing system provider to ensure implementation of system enhancements and automations.
  • Routine auditing and management of scheduled reports.
  • Oversees daily operations and management of credentialing programs, projects and initiatives.
  • Supports and maintains the credentialing and technology systems.
  • Serves to ensure the accuracy of that data as the Data Source of Truth for related initiatives, services and programs.
  • Provide quality assurance activities and accurate data reporting procedures.
  • Collaborate with Medical Staff Leadership in the design of credentialing systems goals goals, timelines and objectives.
  • Actively promote and provide exceptional customer service to internal and external parties; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Monitors regulatory guidelines and ensures credentialing system is developed to meet and maintain compliance with regulatory rules and guidelines.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, US Renal Care Medical Staff Bylaws, Code of Conduct, policies & procedures. Director is responsible for these functions for all US Renal Care managed companies as assigned.
  • Collaborates with Medical Staff Leadership to monitor the functionality of the credentialing systems, including diagnosis and resolution of issues that affect performance, accessibility, routine system enhancements based on end-user and organizational needs.
  • Monitors credentialing system for technical issues in a proactive manner which may involve troubleshooting and resolution management with corporate partners.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of enhancements, end-user demands, and recurring system issues working closely with compliance teams to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Oversee user permissions and rights, designating user classifications and configurations.
  • Identify and support the automation of repetitive system administration job functions within the credentialing system tools when required.
  • Actively promotes GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Effectively communicates expectations; accepts accountability and holds others accountable for performance.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required for the job.
