Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is hiring a Data Insights & Analysis Manager who will play a critical role in strengthening Habitat for Humanity's global program impact by leading advanced data analysis, insight generation, and industry intelligence. This role owns and stewards key analytical models, data systems, and measurement frameworks that integrate internal program data with external housing sector trends, global market signals, and emerging research. The Manager designs and maintains methodologies that ensure analytical rigor, comparability, and strategic relevance across regions, translating complex data into actionable insights that shape global program direction, investment decisions, and organizational priorities.
This position may be remote or hybrid in Costa Rica, Kenya, the Philippines, Slovakia, or the US and requires 5% travel.
Responsibilities
*Data Analysis & Insight Generation: Lead advanced analysis of internal program performance data, including quantitative and qualitative metrics, to identify trends, drivers of impact, and areas for strategic improvement. Own and maintain core analytical models, indicators, and methodologies that ensure rigor, consistency, and comparability across regions and programs. Translate complex, multi-source data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and program teams. Design, develop, and oversee data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting systems that communicate program outcomes and strategic implications, while supporting capacity-building efforts that strengthen a data-driven culture across the global network. (40%)
*Strategic Decision Support: Provide high-impact analytical support to global program design, planning, and prioritization by embedding evidence, models, and industry intelligence into decision-making processes. Identify and assess strategic risks, opportunities, and emerging issues using integrated internal data and external signals. Ensure insights are accessible and relevant for both technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring products to decision context. Serve as a strategic thought partner to senior program leaders by shaping analytical questions, framing trade-offs, and informing investment, innovation, and policy decisions. (20%)
*External Research & Industry Intelligence: Lead the synthesis of global housing and shelter sector research, including market conditions, regulatory developments, financing trends, and innovations that influence Habitat’s programmatic work. Integrate external research and intelligence with internal data and analytical frameworks to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities. Ensure Habitat’s global strategies and programs remain relevant and responsive to a changing housing and development landscape. Own benchmarking approaches that position Habitat’s program outcomes against relevant global housing, development, and market indicators. (20%)
*Material Creation: Oversee the development of high-quality products, including dashboards, visualizations, reports, and insight briefs, that clearly communicate findings, implications, and recommendations. Prepare executive-ready materials for senior leadership, boards, and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring analytical clarity and strategic relevance. Contribute data-driven content to global strategies, donor communications, and organizational reporting, translating complex analysis into compelling narratives that support alignment, accountability, and decision making. (20%)
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
*5 years of professional experience in data analysis, program evaluation or a related analytics field.
*English fluency.
*Experience working in international development, housing or shelter sectors, nonprofits, or global program environments.
*Prior experience integrating internal program data with external market or industry intelligence.
*Strong proficiency in quantitative data analysis.
*Ability to synthesize complex datasets into clear, meaningful insights and strategic recommendations.
*Ability to leverage AI tools to increase efficiency.
*Familiarity with research skills, including environmental scanning, literature review, and benchmarking.
*Ability to collaborate with team members to identify emerging risks, opportunities, and trends in the global housing landscape.
*Comfortable collaborating across teams and incorporating feedback of major stakeholders
*Ability to communicate technical findings to non technical audiences clearly and concisely.
*Skilled in preparing high quality written materials, including briefs, reports, and presentations.
*Comfortable working both independently and in team environments.
*Working knowledge of GIS tools, data analytics platforms (e.g., Python, R), and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical specialists.

The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in Slovakia, the starting salary is 3,570 euros/month. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $81,600-$96,000 per year.
