
Manager, Investment Services Sales
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manager, Investment Services Sales leads a high-performing team of financial advisors, driving the growth and success of the Investment Services team through sales leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional member service. This role is responsible for sales and service management, creation and attainment of Advisor performance goals, recruiting and maintaining the advisor team, and ensuring financial solutions support the financial well-being of members. This role will foster collaboration across branches, coach advisors, and ensure that regulatory and broker-dealer policies are met.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Build and maintain a high-performance, member-centric sales culture across the Investment Services team
- Lead the Advisor team in recruitment and hiring, setting goals, providing guidance and coaching, evaluating performance, and reviewing sales pipeline activity.
- Develop individual advisor scorecards, business plans, and performance metrics aligned with team and OnPoint’s strategic plan.
- Guide advisors in offering personalized financial plans and investment and insurance solutions that align with each member's financial goals.
- Implement and maintain a standardized sales and service delivery model, including comprehensive financial planning practices.
- Ensure advisors document member interactions accurately and thoroughly in CRM and follow established prospecting, pipeline, and sales documentation processes.
- Provide sales leadership in the development and execution of Investment Services marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Ensure the development, tracking, and management of an effective sales pipeline driven by referrals from credit union channels and marketing activity.
- Partner with the SVP, Investment Services to evaluate and refine advisory, insurance, and investment solutions and expand offerings to meet evolving member needs.
- Mentor advisors in navigating branch partnerships, building referral networks, and establishing ongoing relationships with credit union employees.
- Prepare department reports, advisor scorecards, and dashboards to monitor key metrics and outcomes.
- Coach and monitor adherence to all relevant sales, service, and documentation policies, as well as broker-dealer and regulatory standards (e.g., FINRA, SEC, BSA/AML).
- Reinforce a culture of ethical conduct and acting in the member’s best interest at all times.

- Able to coordinate a variety of assignments simultaneously and prioritize work.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team with strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to be self-directed and function under limited supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Finance, Business, or related field, preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment sales, financial advising, or financial services leadership.
- FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, or 66.
- Strong working knowledge of investment and insurance products, financial planning, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and inspire financial advisors to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional member experiences.
