Job Summary:

This remote, field-based position is responsible for delivering best-in-class education and support for healthcare professionals. Leveraging data-driven insights, the role proactively engages with healthcare professionals to address educational needs, minimize administrative burden, and prevent patient access barriers related to REMS program requirements. Travel for this position will be required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Education, Data Analysis, Outreach, and Stakeholder Engagement

  • Facilitate education for healthcare professionals, including virtual tutorials and on-demand training, to ensure clear understanding of REMS program requirements and REMS portal navigation.
  • Generate, analyze, and report healthcare professional certification trends and track overdue tasks to identify educational opportunities and proactively support compliance with the REMS program requirements.
  • Reach out to healthcare professionals to address compliance issues, provide solutions, and share best practices for workflow improvement.
  • Assist REMS Advisors in other territories, when feasible, to promote balanced workload across the team and ensure that all business needs are consistently met distribution across team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address healthcare professionals’ inquiries regarding specific patient cases and to enhance their understanding of REMS program requirements
  • Collect and analyze healthcare professional and patient feedback on REMS program processes, materials, and technologies; share actionable insights with leadership and relevant teams to optimize processes and REMS program requirements where feasible.
  • Conduct regular review meetings with leadership to keep them informed and report on customer experience, program activities, and improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (including patient advocacy, sales, training, and marketing teams) to gather insights and enhance program effectiveness.
  • Identify and collaborate with REMS Advisor leadership, REMS Strategy and REMS IT to recommend technology enhancements to reduce administrative burden and facilitate more efficient processes for stakeholders.
  • Rapidly identify, address and track stakeholder trends and complaints; propose practical solutions to improve experiences and outcomes.
  • Deliver feedback on REMS system improvements and analytics tracking to inform ongoing technology development and business practices.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and adherence to HIPAA regulations and company policies when handling Protected Health Information (PHI), ensuring patient confidentiality and data privacy at all times.

Additional Tasks

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for REMS systems to ensure business functions support both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Document all customer interactions using internal databases and team reporting tools.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of applicable regulations and industry trends related to program implementation.
  • Stay current on departmental operations, including SOPs, work practices, and technologies.
  • Represent the department as a subject matter expert at industry meetings, FDA Inspections, BMS Audits and Investigations across all REMS programs
  • Generate and maintain reports on activities, outcomes, and trends; provide scheduled and ad-hoc reports to leadership as needed.
  • Mentor and support new team members to promote onboarding and ongoing development.
  • Assist with crafting and/or reviewing departmental communications and general correspondences.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years’ pharmaceutical experience with 2+ years’ of focus on delivering training with specific experience in FDA REMS regulations. BS/BA/Associates’ degree is preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships and trust with customers and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in relationship-building, networking, and fostering collaborative partnerships.
  • Skilled in engaging, creative communication and presentations; comfortable as an effective and enthusiastic speaker.
  • Proficient with web-conferencing tools for virtual meetings and trainings.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with adept use of Excel and PowerPoint to inform business decisions and deliver insights.
  • Highly collaborative team player; able to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Committed to confidentiality, integrity, and maintaining the highest ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Motivated by a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
  • Flexible and adaptable; capable of balancing multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as needed.

Compensation Overview:

Remote - United States - US: $105,820 - $128,225


The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
