Marketing Activation Specialist

Job Summary

The Marketing Activation Specialist collaborates closely with key stakeholders including the US Sales Department, US Marketing, Brand Marketing, and strategic accounts to drive sell-through of KEEN products within the wholesale business channel.

Essential Functions

  • Collaborates closely with sales and specialty wholesale accounts to ensure comprehensive awareness of available assets, effectively upholding the company's best practices while fostering strong account relationships.   
  • Facilitates seamless communication of marketing, campaign, and brand-building initiatives to retail accounts, including buyers, merchandisers, and marketing teams, as well as to US sales teams and visual merchandising staff, ensuring alignment with national go-to-market strategies. 
  • Plans and executes physical brand/wholesale channel activations in the digital and real space, including but not limited to grand opening events, trade shows, product launch events, and specialty account marketing.   
  • Contributes to the development of seasonal and evergreen branded point of purchase in collaboration with US sales teams and global marketing.   
  • Documents and maintains monthly activation reports of wholesale marketing activity.   
  • Provides project oversight to internal marketing staff and external creative resources through project briefs.   
  • Travels with US sales team to sell-in meetings and trade shows.   

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a business-related field
  • Three (3) years  experience in Marketing or Digital Marketing
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to create comprehensive reports in Powerpoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of consumer buying behavior throughout the marketing funnel.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills with an ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Self-motivated with ability to establish personal rapport and build strong business partnerships via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Vendor and project management skills.
  • Thrives in a lean, fast-paced environment.
  • Thinks strategically and executes tactically.

Percent of Time:  25% domestic travel

Base Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 yearlyThis range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
