Position Overview
We are seeking a Master Planner with deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) to lead our end‑to‑end production planning, materials coordination, and demand forecasting. This role owns the planning function, drives operational efficiency, and ensures our supply chain runs with precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Planning — Develop, maintain, and optimize master production schedules aligned with demand, capacity, and inventory targets.
- Business Central MRP — Configure, run, and analyze MRP/MPS processes within BC to ensure accurate supply and demand signals.
- Inventory Optimization — Maintain optimal stock levels, safety stock, and reorder points using BC planning parameters.
- Capacity Management — Evaluate resource constraints and adjust schedules to maximize throughput.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Partner with procurement, operations, sales, and finance to align planning with business priorities.
- Data Accuracy — Ensure item cards, BOMs, routings, and planning parameters are accurate and continuously improved.
- Reporting & KPIs — Build and maintain planning dashboards and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years experience as a Master Planner, Production Planner, or Supply Chain Planner.
- Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including:
- MRP/MPS
- Item planning parameters
- BOMs & routings
- Demand forecasting
- Production orders
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or related operational environments.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Lean, S&OP, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- College degree
- APICS certification
- Background in multi‑site or high‑mix/low‑volume environments.
