Job Summary
The Mathematics Division of Jefferson Community and Technical College has openings for Adjunct Instructors to teach all levels of Mathematics. The primary responsibilities of these positions are to teach courses, maintain some office hours for mentoring and coaching students, success and retention activities, and utilization of a learning management system such as Blackboard for communication and feedback. These positions may be asked to teach on any of Jefferson’s campuses, and/or possibly online.
Job Duties:

Minimum Qualifications:
Eighteen graduate hours in Mathematics and a Master’s degree, or a Master’s degree in Mathematics is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching experience at the college level and online preferred, with an understanding of different teaching methodologies to address various learning styles.
Additional Skills Requested:
Ability to teach a broad range of mathematics content as stated in the description. Proficient use of technology and willingness to adapt when necessary. Efficient in explaining mathematical concepts and patience for students that struggle with the content.
