Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides courteous and friendly service to all patient and contributes to a positive team-based work environment
  • Facilitates good patient care under the supervision of providers, assisting with such tasks as patient education, examination preparation, taking vitals, recording patient medical histories, injections, ordering labs and procedures
  • Patient scheduling
  • Prepares exam rooms with necessary equipment and supplies and keeps exam rooms clean and tidy
  • Electronic maintenance of patent records and other information.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of and certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program/school
  • Current CPR certification or obtain within 4 months of hire
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to bend, reach, lift, pull, push and/or carry up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Previous experience preferred

Hours: Clinic Hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday
