Position Summary: This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Urgent Care as a Certified Medical Assistant. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic MA who brings a positive attitude, high energy, and a strong commitment to patient care. Essential Job Functions: * Deliver excellent patient care under the supervision of the provider. * Prepare patients for examination and treatment, ensuring comfort and readiness. * Set up and maintain exam and treatment rooms with appropriate equipment and supplies. * Assist with scheduling diagnostic tests and treatments. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation. * Administer medications as directed by the provider. * Provide courteous, professional, and compassionate service to all patients while fostering a positive work environment. * Support patient examinations and procedures by: Escorting patients to exam rooms Obtaining medical histories Measuring and recording vital signs Ensuring all relevant patient information (medications, allergies, lab results, etc.) is available to the provider * Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms; clean and sterilize instruments according to clinic policies and procedures. * Obtain and communicate lab/test results as directed by the provider in a timely and professional manner. * Call or fax prescriptions to pharmacies as directed. * Attend staff meetings and participate in team activities as required. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Completion of a Medical Assistant training program from an accredited institution, with current certification. * Must maintain lab equipment (provided training on the job) and meet CLIA certification requirements as verified by the lab director. * Current CPR certification required or must obtain within 4 months of hire and maintain throughout employment. * Working knowledge of medical terminology required.

Hours: Must be able to work a flexible schedule: weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts run from 8-8 pm or 9-9 pm. 2 days week with room to pick up extra shifts when needed.
