Job Duties:

The Medical Assisting Program Instructor is responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality instruction in both classroom and laboratory settings. This role is essential in equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful careers in the medical assisting field.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver lesson plans that align with program objectives and institutional standards
Instruct and guide students in both classroom and hands-on laboratory environments
Assess student performance, maintain accurate records, and track progress and skill competencies
Provide support to enhance student learning, development, and professional preparedness

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate degree or higher in Medical Assisting (preferred) or a related healthcare field
Current certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) preferred
Teaching experience in a postsecondary or adult education setting is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Commitment to student success and workforce readiness
