Physical Requirements

Will need to be able to lift up to 30 lbs and maneuver through the Microbiology areas. Physical exertion of 30 minutes or more at a time.

Shift

Weekdays Approximately 20-25 hours per week.

Job Summary

This job will be in the Bacteriology/Mycology sections of the UKVDL with duties that include: Heat-sterilizing spent biologics, culture media, and tissue samples to render them noninfectious. Prepare quality media to support adequate growth of microorganisms. Other duties as assigned.
