The Multimedia Content Creator Intern will support Envision’s marketing and communications team with the execution of key projects and day-to-day content needs. This role will work closely with team members on a range of initiatives that support Envision’s brand, outreach, and engagement efforts across print, digital, and video platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Multimedia Production: Assist with video filming and editing, event and candid photography, and media asset organization
- Visual Content Creation: Support the design of digital and print collateral using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro) and/or Canva
- Content Marketing: Write and edit content for email campaigns, blogs, newsletters, and website pages
- Social Media & Digital Support: Contribute to content calendars, help with daily posting and engagement, and track analytics
- Marketing Project Coordination: Help manage internal marketing requests and workflows, ensuring tasks stay on deadline and meet brand standards
- Asset Management: Maintain an organized archive of digital assets, including photo and video files, brand materials, and copywriting templates
- Mission-Focused Storytelling: Conduct interviews and gather testimonials that help amplify Envision’s impact
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma, some College/University hours preferred
Experience:Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in multimedia production, communications, content creation, or public relations.
Technical Proficiency: Experience with professional photography and video equipment. Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere Pro, with After Effects and Canva as a plus). Comfortable working with content management systems, social media management tools, analytics platforms, and email marketing tools such as Mailchimp.
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro required; Canva and After Effects a plus)
- Familiarity with professional camera equipment for video and photography
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
- Experience with Mailchimp and/or Raiser's Edge (or willingness to learn)
- Experience supporting marketing, communications, or nonprofit development teams
- Understanding of basic marketing principles and digital best practices
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a professional team environment
- Creative eye for visual storytelling with discipline for brand consistency
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies.
