Your Mission:

Assist with leading visual, magnetic particle and dye penetrant examinations in accordance with written procedures while ensuring the health and safety of all associates is protected.


Explore the Depth of the Role:

  • Maintain housekeeping and 5-S standards.
  • Champion corporate safety initiatives to cultivate a safe and secure work environment.
  • Knowledge of all production processes and applicable industry standards specifications and procedures.
  • Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams and confers with management to employ appropriate quality codes and standards.
  • Selects products for test at specific stages in the production process, and test products for a variety of qualities including dimensions, performance, and mechanical characteristics.
  • Record test data, applying statistical methods as appropriate.
  • Evaluate data and complete reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Empower team members by sharing knowledge, encouraging continuous learning, and driving professional growth.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and accountability within the inspection team to achieve shared goals.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:


Mission Readiness:

  • High school diploma with three (3) years of related experience in NDT inspection, examination, or testing activities.
  • Documented training and certifications in VT and MT inspection methods, meeting ASNT SNT-TC-1A standards.
  • Experience as a Level I Inspector or equivalent, with progression to Level II responsibilities, including planning inspections and leading teams.

Physical Requirements:

  • May be required to stand, walk, sit, reach/pull/push with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel regularly.
  • May lift or carry 50 lbs. Weights exceeding 50 lbs will require mechanical means to maneuver.
