Physical Requirements

The physical requirements for this position include regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motion (such as typing); walking including pushing, pulling, and/or lifting up to 10lbs and occasional pushing, pulling, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs.



Shift

Monday – Friday, Day Shift; 7:30am – 4:00pm (40 hrs/wk).



Job Summary

The Neuromuscular Technician will be responsible for neuromuscular testing that includes, but not limited to electromyogram and Evoked Potential testing in accordance to the Joint Commission and departmental policies and procedures.

The technician will monitor and document events, as well as record and analyze nerve physiology in pediatric through geriatric patients with the ultimate goal of affording the interpreting physician optimal exam data that supports a proper diagnosis.

Preferred Education/Experience

EMG experience/certification preferred, but not required AEHR, APM, SCM, and Natus Neuromuscular systems knowledge preferred.
