Position Summary: Our busy Urology clinic in Provo is recruiting for highly motivated, skilled, kind, honest and patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work part time in the clinical setting. Urology experience is not required - as physicians are willing to train specialty specific skills.

Essential Job Functions: - Collaborate with department physicians to determine preliminary diagnosis and therapeutic plan. Provide medical care and treatment to patients, under prescribed guidelines and physician direction. - Perform physical exams, document in electronic medical record, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications. - Order, interpret and evaluate appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests to identify and assess patient clinical problems and health care needs. - Will be trained to see approximately 20 patients in office per day with: kidney stones, kidney/prostate/bladder cancer, urinary incontinence, elevated PSA, erectile dysfunction, catheters, overactive bladder, female organ prolapse, benign prostatic hyperplasia, pelvic floor dysfunction and urinary tract infection. A medical assistant will be assigned to help with related patient care, notes and tasks. - Will not be expected to round on patients in the hospital, take hospital call or consults.

Qualifications: National Certification as Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Must hold current Utah State License and DEA registration.

Hours: 2 to 3 days/week (8:00A-5:00P) 1st/3rd Monday, 2nd/4th Tuesday, Every Thursday
