Job Summary

ECTC is seeking a Nursing Instructor for our Associate Degree Nursing Program.
The nursing instructor will be responsible for both didactic, clinical, and simulation instruction.
10-month, promotion track faculty position (Aug-May)

Job Duties:

Clinical sites may include long-term care, acute care, and rehabilitation centers. Applicants will instruct the equivalent of 15 credit hours per semester and be responsible for advising, institutional service, external service, professional development, and educational leadership. Assignments may include some evening, weekend, and/or off-campus courses. Candidates must possess a strong commitment to teaching, the willingness to work with a diverse population and be dedicated to the mission of Elizabethtown Community & Technical College.

Minimum Qualifications:


Education & Experience: Master’s Degree in Nursing and/or Nursing Education preferred or a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing with 3 years or greater of nursing service with the completion of an internal mentorship in academia.

Certification or Professional License: Must hold a current unencumbered license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
